About
Frostpin Play started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other odd little games nobody had heard of. At some point the list got too long to keep in a chat, so we built a site. Nothing corporate about it — we still argue about ratings over coffee.
We cover mobile games across every genre, from slow narrative adventures to twitchy arcade runs. The rule is simple: someone on the team has to actually play the thing to completion, or at least far enough to have a real opinion. No press-release rewrites.
Games get picked a few ways. Sometimes readers point us at something. Sometimes we stumble on a title with twelve downloads and a great idea buried inside. We lean toward indie and small-studio work because that's where the surprises live, but we'll cover anything that earns a spot.
We're not sponsored by anyone and we don't sell games. When we like something we say so plainly, and when a game wastes your battery we say that too.
