How We Actually Score A Game
People ask why one game gets a 4.6 and another a 4.1, so here's the honest answer: we argue about it. A lot.
We look at how the game plays, how it respects your time, and whether it does what it set out to do. A tiny arcade game and a story RPG aren't judged by the same yardstick.
A high score doesn't mean flawless — it means the good far outweighs the rough edges. Plenty of 4.4 games have real problems we still recommend around.
The number is a shorthand. The words underneath it are where the real review lives, so please read those.
